Larsen Equipment Design Announces Two Improvements to Their Autoblocker

December 20, 2004 Posted by Larsen Equipment Design

1. A new piston kit which can be user installed which increases by three times the holding force and improves the reliability of the upper collet. It replaces the earlier diaphram assembly.

2. An arbor sensor that guarantees that the arbor (chuck) is fully inserted into the upper collet and then automatically closes the collets. This improvement can also be user installed.  A side benefit is that if your arbors are “shrinking ” in length, the blocker will not accept them.

These improvements were purposely designed to be retrofitted in existing machines to increase the machine’s value to the user.
