ClearLab International™ reinforces its focus on contact lens innovation by featuring its range of biocompatible lenses containing clear GMA™ in both daily disposable and frequent replacement modalities at Silmo.
The new comfort-enhancing clearGMA™ material, coupled with state of the art lens designs, offers a superior range of lenses to better suit practitioner and patient needs, at industry competitive prices.
clear 1-day ™ is the first biocompatible daily disposable and has proved in clinical trials to show significant wearer preference over leading brands in terms of comfort, longer wearing times, and end of day wetting. This was demonstrated in a 144 patient study recently published in OPTICIAN: Clinical evaluation of a biocompatible daily disposable contact lens.
In response to demand for the new lens ClearLab has added significant daily manufacturing capacity in the UK with an acquisition of a second major facility in Plymouth.
clear all-day™ advanced frequent replacement lenses are expected to create considerable interest too, with the same comfort benefits from the clearGMA technology.
To complement the frequent replacement lenses ClearLab will promote its new clear all-in-1™ multi-purpose No-rub solution, containing a new lubriclean™ formula which provides comfort enhancing properties as well as express clean features.
“The wearing benefits of our technology are now being made available to millions of patients across the globe, and the innovative pipe-line of new lenses will be launched during the next three years. We expect to launch at least three new products every year,” said ClearLab International President Graham Mullis.
ClearLab’s service, commitment to its partners, and the superior on-eye performance of its products has resulted in significant adjustments to many major optical companies’ buying patterns.
“We offer our customers a significant difference by creating strong partnerships that add value to their business and offer real benefits to lens wearers.
“Our development philosophy is simple: we listen to the requirements of contact lens wearers and then design our products and services to meet - and then exceed - their expectations,” added Graham Mullis.
