BCLA Conference Update:

Welcome to Conference Update with the latest news of the 2009 BCLA Clinical Conference and Exhibition, to be held in Manchester from May 28-31.

Don’t miss out on the exciting social programme at BCLA 2009!

The BCLA Conference not only has world class education, the latest research and essential information to help you in your business. It’s also great fun!

Here are just some of the social events to enjoy at this year’s Conference….

·         Saturday night’s Gala Dinner, the Glitter Ball, with dancing to top party band, Star. Book your tickets early − we have a limited number available this year and they’re selling fast!

·         Thursday evening’s official welcome party, hosted by Patron CIBA Vision at the conference venue. After the success of CIBA’s Aqua Party last year, expect a spectacular evening of music and entertainment with a few surprises as well. The evening will start at 7pm, and food and drink will be provided.

·         Patron Johnson & Johnson Vision Care is hosting a special Friday night reception in support of The British Heart Foundation where it will be making a £25 donation to the charity on behalf of each delegate that attends. It will also be revealing exciting new research from The Vision Care Institute on the optical professions. Come along and be inspired!

Bring along your partner, friend or family member and they can:

·         Discover Manchester on a walking tour to include the city’s Art Gallery
·         Learn about the artist LS Lowry from the Head of Galleries at The Lowry

This year attendance is even more affordable:

-          Bring a junior colleague to the Sunday sessions for half price, with daily rates from only £80

-          Join the BCLA for just £25.25 per quarter and save £100 on a full delegate package

-          Visit the exhibition − entry is again free of charge to non-delegates

-          And accompanying persons events are also free of charge
